We hosted some visitors and business partners from China in December 2011.

6th December: I hosted a meeting with a delegation of 4 from Beijing Medical Management Group lead by Mr. Liu Mingshan. We talked about exporting medical equipment to China from NZ & Australia and hospital management systems. Ai Hong and Kate Fang from Lower Hutt and Wellington hospital were invited to attend the meeting.

"I could tell you something about China; my friend could tell you something about China and both of those would be completely opposite. But both would be completely right."

9th December: I had a discussion with a local businessman on matters of exporting wine to Fu Zhou, China. Some constructive feedback was given for his consideration.

12th December: I had a meeting with Xi Jin, Chair of the NZ and China News Agency. Jian Yang, National Party List MP was also present. The News Agency offered CANZBC a platform to deliver our messages to the public and potential members.

13th December, I attended a reception for inbound businesses from Hubei Province in Auckland. In attendance were Wenhua Yin, President of the Wuhan Wenchang Overseas Friendship Association, and Jianhua Hu, the Minister of the United Front Work Department of Xianning Municipal Committee of Hubei Province. It was lead by Liu Ai Dang, a member of the central government in Hubei.

16th December, a welcome reception for students from the New Zealand School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine coordinated by myself was held in Wuhan. Hu Jian, Director of the Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs in Hubei Province hosted the reception.
