Again this year, to mark New Zealand Race Relations Day 2007, KIFG is organising an International bring-and-share Food Festival. CANZBC is active partner in organising the event. Last year about 300 people attended and we believe we will exceed this number this year. Admission is free - although a donation would be appreciated - and all you have to do is bring your favourite dish to share with others. Tables, plastic plates, spoons, forks and serviettes are provided as is tea, coffee and juice. Please wear national dress if appropriate.
A special feature this year will be dancers representing various countries and cultures from 11.30am.
Please help to publicise this event by telling your friends. Better still, make up a group to join in the fun.
A special reminder from the District Health Officer:
If you have had a stomach upset within the last 24 hours, please do not prepare or handle food for others. |
